The Approach
We balanced the expansive open layout with intimate vignettes: a live-edge coffee table grounds the seating area while woven bamboo shades soften the tall windows. Desert photography and warm-toned lamps create visual anchors against the airy white walls.
After
After Transformation
By layering natural textures — parquet flooring, woven shades, wooden lamps, and linen upholstery — the room now feels collected and lived-in while honoring the ocean-adjacent locale with its breezy California spirit. A floating driftwood shelf suspended near the window adds visual interest and perspective to an otherwise flat, dominating expanse of glass, drawing the eye upward with trailing air plants and a delicate gold leaf mobile.
