We are seeking an experienced remote design operations and procurement professional to support a high-end residential interior design studio.
This is an opportunity for the right person to build an ongoing working relationship with the studio, beginning hourly and growing organically as project demand increases.
The Role
Procurement & Operations Manager
We are looking for a highly experienced, detail-driven professional to support the operational side of a high-end residential interior design business. This role is ideal for someone who thrives behind the scenes, understands the realities of design procurement, and can confidently manage the heavy administrative and logistical load that supports beautiful design work.
What You Will Do
Key Responsibilities
Placing and tracking orders across multiple vendors and suppliers
Managing procurement workflows from specification to delivery
Maintaining and updating project budgets with precision
Drafting and managing specification schedules
Vendor communication, follow-up, and relationship management
Coordinating lead times, delivery updates, and issue resolution
Supporting project administration and documentation
Creating order clarity and operational calm across active projects
CAD or drafting skills are not essential, but would be considered a bonus.

We are looking for someone who already understands this world and can step in with confidence. The ideal person is proactive, highly organized, commercially aware, systems-minded, and deeply experienced in the procurement and administrative realities of interior design. This is someone who does not need to be carried, but instead helps carry the studio.
Strong procurement experience in interior design
Experience with high-end residential projects preferred
Excellent written communication
Extreme attention to detail
Budget awareness and follow-through
Able to work remotely and independently
Calm, solutions-oriented, and reliable
Able to create structure, not just respond to tasks
