Overlooking the ocean at Dee Why, this coastal beach house brings together sculptural curves, warm timber and richly coloured details.
Working pre-construction allowed a circular platform to be recessed into the concrete slab, flush with the floor. Set on concealed skateboard wheels and finished with a round rug and curved sofa, the custom lounge could gently rotate towards the ocean view, kitchen, television or dining area.
A curved timber staircase continues the home's flowing lines, while blue mosaic tiles, glass basins and expressive mirrors bring character to the bathrooms.
