Casa Famili Santa Monica family home interior design by Bronwyn Poole — hero image

    Casa Famili

Casa Famili is a warm, art-filled Santa Monica home where eclectic collected pieces meet architectural restraint.

Cedar-clad ceilings, slate fireplaces, and curated gallery walls give each room its own character while a unified material palette keeps the home feeling cohesive and considered.

An Art-Filled Family Home in Santa Monica

Casa Famili is a Santa Monica home shaped around the rhythms of family life and a deeply personal collection of art. The brief was to create rooms that could hold conversation, gathering, and quiet reflection in equal measure — without losing the relaxed, sun-soaked character that defines the Westside.

Cedar-clad ceilings, slate-wrapped fireplaces, and warm oak floors set the architectural tone. Against that grounded shell, layered textiles, hand-glazed ceramics, and a curated gallery of original works bring the home alive with texture and personality.

Eclectic Collected Pieces, Held Together by Restraint

The furnishings move between vintage finds, custom pieces, and contemporary classics — a coral velvet sectional, round oak dining tables, dome-shade bedside lamps, a Moroccan rug underfoot. Each object earns its place in the room through scale, material, or story rather than trend.

A unified material palette of warm woods, soft plaster, slate, brass, and natural fibres ties the rooms together. The result is a home that reads as collected over time but feels coherent at every turn — eclectic on the surface, disciplined underneath.

Design Duality in a Family Context

Casa Famili is a clear expression of Design Duality™ in a family setting: spatial intelligence in the planning of sightlines, gathering zones, and circulation; vibrational design in the colour, texture, and art that give each room its own emotional register. Public rooms invite gathering and conversation, while private spaces are tuned for calm, rest, and recovery.
